Introducing Bar Central

Lyle Cervenka and Bryant Jane from Battle Born Hospitality lease space at the historic Huntridge Theater in Downtown Las Vegas

Bar Central to occupy more than 5,600 SF space for cocktail bar, boutique deli and bottle shop.

LAS VEGAS – Lyle Cervenka and Bryant Jane from Battle Born Hospitality announced today the signing of their lease at the Huntridge Theater for a cocktail bar, boutique deli and bottle shop, called Bar Centrál. Currently the team own and operate Las Vegas bar Starboard Tack, in addition to being involved with Hardway 8, Retroscena and Life is Beautiful, in addition to other projects.

“For the past year we’ve been approached by countless food & beverage operators to lease space at the Huntridge Theater,” said J Dapper of Dapper Companies, owner of the Huntridge Theater. “We’ve been very selective with our partnerships for this extraordinary project, ensuring we provide the best options for the theater patrons and the community at large. Bar Centrál joins SoHo Playhouse who will become operators of the theater once opened.  We have one more space available for a brewery, bar or restaurant and hope to find our final tenant by the end of the year.”

Bar Centrál will bring a modern interpretation of bodegons found throughout Buenos Aires. The concept will combine an Italo-Hispano style delicatessen with a boutique bottle shop and cocktail bar all under one roof. The deli will feature handcrafted sandwiches with an Argentine twist, in addition to small bites, salads and charcuterie. Other specialty items will be available for purchase. The cocktail program will highlight South American spirits in a seasonal, fresh ingredient menu, in addition to an extensive wine list, craft beers and non-alcoholic elixirs. The bottle shop will be a premier purveyor of boutique spirits, wine and beer, in addition to packaged non-alcoholic offerings.

“As a Las Vegas native, I understand the importance of The Huntridge Theater for our community,” noted Bryant Jane. “We are very excited to be part of the redevelopment and believe this is the perfect location for a concept we’ve been working on for years.”

“Bar Centrál will offer something for everyone: boutique deli, bottle shop and cocktail bar drawing inspiration from Bryant’s Argentine culture mixed with the bodegas I grew up with on the East Coast,” said Lyle Cervenka. “At the end of the day, our main goal is to create a gathering space for the neighborhood that offers quality food and beverage in this historic location.”

Accolades for Bryant and Lyle include being named Nevada Restaurant Association Bartender of the Year, Eater.com Bartenders of the Year and Seven Best New Bar in 2018. They have been featured in Imbibe magazine, USA Today and Bon Appétit.
